Mineral sculptures and their perfectly smooth surfaces are among the most precious treasures taken directly from the heart of the Earth, and only reveal their optical magic when confronted with a light source. By blowing a molten substance into a precise cold shape, the skillful hands of our glassmakers create a unique luminaire of elementary, yet perfect form. The shiny surface of this hand-blown crystal cube is surrounded on three sides by a polished metal element in silver or gold tones. The Pyrite collection is distinguished by exceptional design and premium materials. Easily combinable, it invites you to create your own light constellations.

Collection inspiration

The creators of this collection, the DECHEM studio, were fascinated by the beauty of mineral formations. Thus, this collection is inspired by pyrite, a golden firestone in the shape of a perfect cube, while the silver version of the lampshade is inspired by salt crystals.

Studio DECHEM

DECHEM studio was created in Prague in 2012 by Michaela Tomiskova and Jakub Jandourek. They first met at the Novy Bor Glass School, where they both fell in love with the first synthesized material in human history. While Michaela studied product design at AAAD Prague (Prague Academy of Arts) and later worked for several renowned design studios, Jakub continued to hone his skills in the lighting industry, becoming specializing in glass work, technology and manufacturing. Since the establishment of DECHEM studio, it has focused on product design and continued to pay special attention to glass.
